Yah... if it looks funny, it's because I was having issues. Drink spilled on it a few hours before submition... It's a little bit late, yes, but not too bad... I repaired it the best I could...
Now for an actual interpretation...
1.)The heart.
They have to hold the heart out together. Why? Because everyone relationship, especially one as deep as love is 50/50. Without both of the partners giving it their all, it won't last.
2.)The swirls around the heart.
This serves to both make the heart more prominent in the picture and it represents the tempest of emotions and passion that are involved.
3.)Each partner has one wing.
They can live on their own, but to be truely free, they need eachother. Their wings can guide them safely into the future, as well as shield themselves and eachother from anything that may come their way.
4.)The eye in the background.
This represents just how dangerous relationships this close may be, and how carefully they must be watched. There is an infinite amount of things that could go wrong to make any relationship crumble, and this must be watched carefully. The eye is both a warning and a guard.
5.)The "tears" and "wind" in the background.
This represents how hard the path they take may be. It also expresses the torrent of emotions that may cause everything to swirl out of the partners' hands.
6.)The blanket and the lack of touch.
I believe that every relationship of love starts out as friendship. They both stay in the relationship. It's the love that keeps them together, and the friendship that gets them through the hard times. The blanket expresses the lust of the relationship. It is explicitly hiding anything that may be going on. Their lack of touch represents their conscious effort to keep things controlled.

Entirely .5 pencil and eraser. A lot of clean up done in photoshop, but nothing that detracted from the novelty of sheer traditional work.

There is certainly an air of passion that surrounds `Nico1 with regard to his love for art. Boys & Girls of every age wouldn't you like to see something strange....
Your hands need joints. In them. Especially when you draw them small. Really the only thing that needs improving at this point.
That being said, I love the thought behind the composition. Having two individuals with one wing is rather good symbolism, I'm tempted to use the idea myself. XD;;;

There's a lot of emotion and concept running through this piece, it draws my eye all around the canvas! Since you've described to us the concepts of many objects in this piece, I'm able to point them out more clearly and analyze them. Also, let me just say, I love that eye in the back .__. It's so piercing! Overall, I'll be giving you a 7/10. Great work!
Your technical skills are all right; it's getting there, but still has room for improvement. I'm really enjoying all of this symbolism though, it's a pretty powerful way to interpret this theme.
