So, yes, I'm in college now. Been here for a while now really. And while this fact makes my mother cringe, I love it here. College is showing me there's so much MORE to life than my drama-ridden little town. I don't really want to go home. I'd be perfectly fine with just... staying here... or with friends.

Aaah, as to friends. It is the general consensus of our hall that my roommate DOESN'T EXIST. We're not really roommates, we just happen to sleep in the same room. It is impossible to find her, impossible to get a hold of her, and she's ALWAYS busy. HOWEVER, she is an exceptionally nice person. And we have more in common than I would have guessed otherwise.

On that topic, I've also made a very good friend~ While I don't appreciate the "motherly attitude" she gives me (as in, GO TO BED OR ELSE. And I mean that in the most loving way possible <3 ), I am very happy I've connected with someone here. I was sincerely worried I wasn't going to fit into a christian college setting, given my background. And while I still don't feel like I fit in or that I even belong, I am exceptionally glad and relieved that I've managed to make a good friendship. Despite my antisocial tendencies. It's... ah... a breath of fresh air, given the environment I'm accustomed too. Even if I don't understand WHY she cares so darn much, that doesn't change the fact I'm touched regardless and am happy to know her. (and if you read this, ignore the sappiness. My journal, my page, so I get to be as weird and out-of-character as I want... So hah).

Ah, yes, where was I? I'm a programing/animation major. Honestly, I can say I enjoy all my classes so far. Everything has their cons (bloody goodness Humanities takes forever), but everything has equal or more pros to them.

I'm still nipping some bad habits it seems. Some went away naturally with college, and some attacked with more force than I had faced before. Developing character I suppose.

Finances are a pain... end of story...

As for my mildly neglected dA page. I check ALL my messages every day (or at the very longest, every other day). Feel free to message me or email me or whatever. I'll get back to you. Really. Believe me~

I SHOULD be on a regimen where I am posting at least SOMETHING once a month or so, due to a deal I've made (I draw something for someone else doing my laundry. Lame, eh? But the idea of public washer rooms kind of creeps me out. Plus it's motivation to actually DRAW something every now and then). So expect more there as well.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to say~ Feel free to ask whatever; it's a nice break from homework to check messages.
